Starlings the Singing Stars

European Starlings are birds commonly found in urban areas. With glossy black feathers and beautifully iridescent plumage, these birds are actually quite pleasant to observe in the wild. They also have communal nesting practices and are omnivores, helping remove insect pests from their communities. However, these features are not what makes these specific birds so unique. Instead, it is their incredible ability to mimic and procure almost any wound they hear, including human speech, mechanical hums and clicks, and even impossibly artificial technology-driven sounds. With the second most powerful vocal cords in the animal kingdom, their songs are awe-inspiring. This particular one is a pet who practices its skills every morning;
